Gedy Moody, though originally from Bulgaria, moved at an early age to Italy eventually landing in the United States with her family.

Graduating from the Boston Museum of Fine Art School in 1987 she has gone on to open galleries in Boston and has also shown her work in many New England exhibitions.

Though having traveled extensively in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Italy has become her second home where she has honed and shaped her talent and her art to match the many moods and vibrant colors of the varied landscapes and villages turning her personal impressions and interpretations of the art and architecture there into her own creations through oils, collage and watercolors. Many of her works have been shown in galleries and exhibitions throughout Italy.

At present she divides her time between Italy and the United States where she keeps a studio in Maine.
